Leksikon is not a translator program or a tourist phrase book.Leksikon has been created to address vocabulary-building needs of the English-speaking learner of the Croatian language. It will be most useful to those who have already acquired a good grasp of the grammar of the Croatian language such as is covered by any of the popular teach-yourself books and by the first year of a formal Croatian language study course available in colleges and universities.Leksikon is a strictly Croatian-to-English dictionary; i.e. it is not an English-to-Croatian dictionary. It is designed to assist the English speaker to find the meanings of unfamiliar Croatian words. Nevertheless, Leksikon does provide an inverse search for English words.
